Your initial claim was that control of one’s destiny is not an argument for not getting in. I assert that it is and we can’t keep crying over the committee not putting us in when we played ourselves out.
I like how you completely ignored last year and the pattern that was being established. Do you think that the CFP committee (because the CFP doesn’t make decisions on its own) wouldn’t take a complete collapse in the season prior into account when looking at the whole breadth of work for that season. Seems that if there was a collapse in the previous season and a collapse in the current season that would make sense why they would be hesitant to give us the benefit of the doubt.
Is that problem the players, the coaches, the mentality? Who knows but end of season collapses will always be taken into consideration by the committee and to pretend that the collapses are not an issue is preposterous 😂
