A loss in the CCG (an extra game) does not hurt a team like a loss

At home to Kansas. That would incentivize teams not to play their CCG if they are a one loss or undefeated team. Do you honestly think it’s right to punish a team that made their CCG when they are playing an extra game? Answer is no. That would be horrible for college football and everyone said that when SMU lost.
