If I were you I would look at alternative paths. When you applied for law school and then accepted a job at a law firm in nyc you should go in eyes wide open. There were not secrets on the life style. It does not get much better for partners. Being a lawyer can be a miserable life style.

I don’t work in law but we use top law firms daily on deals. They are available 24/7 and turn documents at all hours as needed.

I lived in the great nyc area for 20’ish years. Great city if you can manage life appropriately
