I was fortunate to drop out of law school after my 1st year clerkship
I did everything right, dean’s list, law review, etc. Got a prestigious summer clerkship at a power firm. They tried to let me party with the rest of the rich kids and I told them to put me to work and they did.

5 big deals that summer, crazy hours, one sr. Associate died from brain cancer, I was the only person from the firm who attended her service, two partners ended up doing federal jail time for one deal I worked. So glad I dropped out, did the entrepreneur thing, so much easier to build a future when it’s not tied to hourly billings. Get out as soon as you can.
