I pray you’re not married and submitting your poor wife to hours alone (and not to mention tons of worry on your behalf) so you can say you worked for some hoity-toity firm.

Sorry if I seem harsh. If you liked that type of environment I’d say more power to you, but you don’t, so why on earth are you doing it? It’s also concerning if it becomes a pattern where you sacrifice your happiness, relationships, and home time for a bigger paycheck, a better title, and a corner office.

That’s not what life’s about, man.
