My NY colleagues are startled when they work with us and we deal with each other in kindness and respect and balance

our families and interests and obligations outside of work. I honestly think some of them are experiencing PTSD from their prior experiences. They seem to be living and working in fear.

It's not worth putting in the time and being miserable to get to a certain place. You'll lose too much off your life and who knows what else.

Get out of it as soon as you can. Life is too short.
