He and I had huge aspirations to do 3-4 years in the City and then get out. I never made it there because I decided to have kids. He’s been there since 2007. He went through h**l for 4 years, and it almost cost him his marriage.
He went the app design route for a couple years and then made enough on its sale to where he’s “of counsel” and doesn’t have a billing requirement. I think the app was called Valcu or something. If not for that sabbatical he’s sure he’d be in a really bad place.
He said it’s not worth it. Take that for what it’s worth.
