Thank you for a reasonable and well thought out response.
I don't fully agree but your points are well thought out.

Where I don't fully agree:

1. There is a lot more to being a CEO than just what is on the field, although that is most important. He is the CEO of the entire football program which includes on field, S&C, practices, NIL, academics, Honor Code, etc. etc. etc. All of those things are improving. Yes we all wish the on-field product was better as that is the most visible part of his CEO position.

2. Where did that go?

3. How do you measure this? Even Bronco who was know as a disciplinarian, had some of the worst years in BYU history for penalties. We don't hear about see the academic or HC issues which needs to be a point in his favor. All coaches will have problems with kids not showing up to practices. There is some coaches responsibility but there is also a lot more on the players themselves. But yes, discipline in some areas is an issue.

My last point would be that Kalani has done a much better than average job hiring "his" people. That first offensive staff was not his and TD was absolutely not his choice. Grimes and staff and even ARod and staff have been much better hires. Yes Tuiaki was likely a mistake and I'll point to budget as being a main driver for both original staff's inexperience.

But Jay Hill and the other position coaches are huge upgrades and KS deserves credit for doing it.
