You played the equivalent of 2 P4 opponents per year in which you were a trap game. Then you coasted against the rest of your schedule. You will now have to beat P4 every week, something you’ve never done.

You zigged while everyone zagged in a time when response to innovation was slow. Innovation gaps are closed in football much more quickly today.

Writers voted you national champion in 1984. Obviously, this flaw was fixed. You’ll have to win a title now and win 3 in a row against top 10 teams with 60th ranked talent.

Yeah, zero chance.
