Wrong. Mom went to BYU, dad served a mission, they are active church members.
My wife and I have known both parents going back 30 years, to elementary school. Grandpa (Kem) was a mission president and the box is because of grandpa’s money. I’ve been in this home many times. Our kids play together, I’ve coached their kids in sports for years. Saw mom in the temple last week. These are VERY good people.

This kid could be on a mission in the next six months if not for this incident. For this to change the course of his life is completely wrong. He threw a water bottle. Give him a fine and community service and let him go back to being an 18-yr old kid, and hopefully a missionary.

Remember: Matthew 7:1-2

“1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”

If you can survive being judged harshly yourself for something like this then you are a better person than me - I can’t.
