IMO he won't be affected at all by the Civil Consequences. I would suspect
his dad/family would pay any civil costs he would have. How is her personally learning or having consequences actually attached to him.
For the fact that he comes from money, I hope he doesn't just get a slap on the wrist for this. It will show it matters what you have in life rather than your actual actions.
Was it dumb, you bet. Yet he still chose to do that with his whole family around to see, doesn't sound like he has had any real consequences in his life.
No way at 18 would I have done that with my dad, grandparents, etc. there. As I would have gotten my butt kicked plenty.
