What do you mean by "better"?
I don't disagree, I'm just curious. Here's my take: whenever one party dominates to such a degree that there is very little counterbalance, things go badly. By that definition, the more purple a state is, the better. I would submit that Colorado's politics are "better" than either CA or UT.
