improvement, ambition. and so many of us feel this way.
But like you, my work experience shows me that not everyone feels this way. Many just want to make enough money to enjoy what they enjoy and do as little work as possible for that.

I'm guilty of that as well. I love the field I'm in because I don't have to kill myself to be promoted, don't have to work insane times and hours and frequently, they don't have work for me to do, but still pay me so I'll be around when they do.
