That’s great but you are making a great case for how WFH is less productive for
employers.

You say you change diapers and play with your kids multiple times throughout the day. That’s the concern employers have. And you’re potentially underestimating the distractions you have.

In fairness, if you were truly wasting 9-10 hours in the office each day, filling your time with ping pong and working out, maybe you don’t have much to do regardless.

WFH is definitely a day-to-day win for employees. And it can work out well for employers in some environments.

But once you go beyond talking about avoiding a commute, and start talking about all the personal things you, your wife, and your kids can do because you “W”FH, you have to understand that you are making the case both for why employees should want it AND why employers should be skeptical of it.
