I understand that too and I believe you, it’s just not necessary. I imagine most
want to play club, maybe some feel compelled to play.
I know club is a very watered down term nowadays and there’s varying levels. My argument is more that most clubs are for profit and exist for themselves and not for the kids. The idea that you have to play for these clubs that costs thousands in thousands of dollars in order to be able to play high school is just a bunch of garbage.
