I loved sports when I was young, but in my opinion, club sports have ruined
youth sports. I would want my kids to participate on the high school teams, but it seems anymore they have to be on some club team to be considered.
Why are we treating youth sports like they are on some semi-pro team that travels all over? Except instead of being paid, you are paying thousands? No wonder kids want to quit when they are seniors. That should be the year they look most forward to playing.

It’s the worst thing and the best thing rolled into one. Wish we didn’t do it and it’s my favorite thing and I’ll miss
