But when two defensive coaches who coached under Whittingham suddenly run a completely different style of defense for 7 years that just so happens to be what people have told me Ed Lamb prefers, I’m going to put 2 and 2 together that Ed Lamb was given a lot of authority in decision making in the program.
Once the defense failed so miserably in 2022, that was certainly Ed Lamb’s cue that it was time to leave. And a lot has changed, hasn’t it?
