Your comment about our kid hiring the USU kid is dumb as well. As I pointed out above I have friends from USU who went to top grad schools and do just fine.
If the kid wants to play football he should base it on football considerations. Academics can figure in but a preferred walk-on spot at BYU is not higher than a football schollie to USU.
