My Niece had a similar experience. So she went to the U instead and it worked
out great for her. I just don't personally put much stock in experiences like this. BYU and the U are huge places. Like mini-cities. You are going to run into all types of people when you are there. I wouldn't let a negative tour experience (or a super positive experience for that matter) sway me one way or the other. BUt some people really internalize that kind of thing. BYU should do a better job of getting the right representatives and putting its best foot forward on tours.
