I didn’t even consider another school
I got letters from usc and Oklahoma offering full ride academic scholarships without applying. I never felt like I would fit in at any other school. If Harvard had knocked on my door, I wouldn’t have cared. I didn’t apply anywhere else.
Of course my parents were willling and able to help with living expenses and I did get tuition at BYU.
