The tour. To me, it was about the academics and advancement of my career and a strong LDS environment away from home. With the resources offered at BYU, its about seizing the opportunities rather than having the school cater to you.
I’ve come to realize that students can benefit from being a big fish in a small pond with opportunities to lead and building confidence, but judging a school by a random tour guide and group of students seems weird. It’s not wrong but it’s an interesting perspective.
