I live here and could introduce you in very short order to a number of Boise State fans who don’t remotely fit your description. There are several right here in my neighborhood/ward.

My primary care doctor – – a leader in patient advocacy and public policy in our state – –Boise state fan. A former stake president, major contributor to the local economy, and very nearly your governor—big Boise State fan. Some of my favorite people here – – great families who also happen to excel at sports and cheer for BYU at times are Boise State fans first. I could go on and on and on.

I suspect these folks and many others would hold up well in your company were football, or really, anything else the topic of discussion.

Doesn’t mean there aren’t bad apples and quirks of the fanbase or that they aren’t annoying at times, specifically in terms of the BYU rivalry many of them wanted so bad. But sheesh dude. Ease up on the throttle a bit. People stereotype BYU fans as well in the same manner you’re putting on display.
