I live in Idaho.
I have never seen this. All Boise state fans I have been around just love their team and underdog mentality. I sometimes feel our fans are more irrational than BSU fans.

Your definition of generation is pretty short. Also, 30 years ago, BSU was in the Big Sky with ISU and Weber.
