I grew up in Nampa and was a big Boise State fan. That was back when both BSU
and Idaho were FCS (or whatever it was called back then). I just remember how much the Vandals fans hated BSU and vice-versa. The University of Idaho typically got the upper hand back then in football. I can understand now how Vandals fans must hate BSU for leaving them in the dust.

Your definition of generation is pretty short. Also, 30 years ago, BSU was in the Big Sky with ISU and Weber.
