I wouldn't even call them a rival.
I'm indifferent towards them but will root for them this playoffs. We are more rivals with the old WAC teams like Hawaii and Wyoming than we are with Boise St. Calling them a rival feels manufactured like the "Utah/Colorado" rivalry.
