I'm a lawyer and I generally don't love personal injury lawyers, but this is

one of those areas where they really do a service to the community. People, and especially big organizations, usually don't care until you hit them where it hurts--in the pocketbook. My first call would be to the principal or the cops, and my second call would probably be to a good PI attorney.
