kalani is a great face for the program. He has an average to good OC and had a lousy DC. He has supposedly upgraded the
DC. Time will tell. Jay Hill has definitely come in and done and excellent job with his recruiting.
Roderick has done well with capable QBs (Zach Wilson and Jaren Hall) Slovis & Retzlaff struggled but was that due to the OL which took a step back.
Was Kalani responsible for the OL collapse bc he settled on Darrell Funk or was Funk the only coach available?
Kalani was responsible for the failure on D. The D was hidden for several years by the ability of the O to put up big points but when the O faltered the D was exposed.
This especially apparent in the recruiting for the D
