when he was fully staffed with his starters. He was aggressive at times, dropping into coverage at times, and everything else in-between. When he has healthy starters, I think his scheme really works at BYU. He's been building depth and we've seen that pay off. What other season could we be down to 3/4th string guys and still have the defense put our team in a position to beat P5 schools? I think it'll work if we can get some more skilled guys as better starters and quality depth.
One thing that really frustrates me is the lack of improvement on leverage, angles, and tackling as the season has gone on. That has got to be addressed.
