It’s like saying a basketball team that plays 4 corners offense is a great defensive team because the points per game is low.
That’s not always the case.
Points per drive allowed is a better metric to show how the defense is performing. Currently we are ranked #70 in the national. With those numbers the defense has to rely on the offense to score more points per drive to compensate for that deficiency. The offense currently is ranked at #30 in points produced per drive. Because of this we are able to win games. But it puts A LOT of pressure on the Offense to be efficient.
If your argument is that Tuiaki’s scheme is producing the best it can produce with the talent that we have then that’s more of an arbitrary argument that is difficult to prove or disprove. Is his scheme maximizing talent or underutilizing talent.
