I hate watching our D philosophy, but we are 7-2 and the D has lost 1 game (2 if you include UVa. The O won that one).
THat is the main reason people can defend him. THe D metrics are bad though. SO you can question the scheme and lack of sacks, TFLs and disruptiveness.
