I think the real reason many people hate him is because they want Sitake to fire him to justify that he was not a "friend hire" which they have claimed and or complained about numerous times. Of course, even if he did fire him to please them they wouldn't let up. They would see it as blood in the water and go after Fesi who could very well be the best WR coach ever at BYU. But that wouldn't matter, the frenzy would be on because whether true or not they would believe they made a difference. As for the others, I have yet to see a single one of them report on their D1 DC experience outside of Madden.

As for FEI and any of it, statistics gives you a one sided view (from your own perspective). Let's go by the one statistic that counts W/L. If just winning is not enough then I guess until we become the next Alabama or better, people will not be satisfied. Let it go. No matter how much you complain, Sitake will not fire anyone, especially when they are winning and doing something even Lavell didn't do, win (7-2) against an almost P5 schedule. And just think, he has done it with almost no SRs in the top 22 on either side of the ball. This is a rebuilding year, just wait until next season. If can be a VERY nice ride!
