CougarTailDevourer Intervention Needed
Europe had a way worse initial wave then the U. S.
and was not able to test many of the Covid deaths that they had in the Spring so their deaths numbers are likely very under reported whereas the U. S. who underwent a later wave has better testing and has much more accurate death statistics. If you look at excess deaths in Europe from the spring they are 40% higher than previous years so their Covid deaths may be underreported by that amount as well. They've likely reached herd immunity at this point which is why their cases and deaths have gone down. As such you aren't doing a fair comparison.
