No, letting non-experts decide is flawed logic
Good grief.
Let's ask the plumber how to wire up the electrical panel! Let him decide what the right way is!
The media might be over-playing it a bit to hurt Trump, but the risks are real. Not death upon infection, but the yet unknowns: chronic fatigue (widely reported, including young people I know who still feel this way since their infection in March) and the potential for antibody mediated worsening of a follow-up infection by a related virus.
If we had done what the experts asked in May/June, the curve would have kept going down and my four kids would be going to school now. Economy in a different place.
But no, we listened to the plumbers. Perfect logic.
You say "forget the virus so we can help the economy". It's "get rid of the virus to help the economy"!
And please, tell your genius plumber friends to wear a mask.
