I like scalley but I’d be surprised
If he would coach at BYU, as big of a Utah fan as he is. That was all I was trying to say. I don’t think scalley could pull a darth Vader like wittingham. (Although in scalley’s case, if he coached at BYU, he would be turning away from the dark side in contrast to wittingham, who turned to the dark side by coaching at Utah. And the analogy between wittingham and darth vader is not perfect because darth Vader turned away from the dark side in the end, and I don’t see that happening with wittingham.)
But scalley’s a great coach and seems like an upstanding individual, and in the mold of a great BYU coach, if he wasn’t so naturally adverse to BYU. With that in mind, ever the eternal optimist, im still hoping things will work out for sitake.
