The BYU job might not offer great job stability you coach at BYU with P5 loaded
Schedules and expectations sky high with recruiting challenges and you might perform slightly better than Sitake and still be feeling pressure and then you get let go and people look at your lack of success at BYU as negative on your resume.

You wait build success at Weber jump for a position at a P5 that might give you a better chance at long term sustained success. BYU is a big career risk I don't see many people looking at it as stepping stones take for example some of our past personnel who are no longer even coaching. We've had two O coordinators who stopped coaching entirely after being here.
