I personally know Jay Hill
I’ve mentioned this before and I will absolutely not go any further than that.
While I can’t speak directly for him, knowing what I know, I’d bet the farm against him taking the job should BYU offer. Yes, BYU can pay more, yes it’s a better job, but Jay could just as easily take a MWC job that pays as much or more than BYU, have success running a team without the challenges BYU presents, and bide his time until Whitt retires. Kyle is 59 and has gone on record several times saying he won’t be coaching in his mid-60’s.
You can believe it or not, but he’s not coming.
