deaths have been in nursing homes. Yes Covid can certainly be deadly for the elderly. But the precautions, restrictions, etc... that we've put in place seem to have little to do with protecting the elderly and are overly draconion and most likely will kill, impoverish and harm more people, especially children, worldwide than the actual illness will kill. Restricting the movements, businesses and lives of the healthy makes little sense. Typically quarantine is reserved for those that are sick or those that are most at risk. But that's not the type of response we are seeing. And many wonder if this is more due to political pressure to appear to be responsible and make the safe choice, than anything based on actual science or data.
