think so. And its not like BYU has gone sub .500 since those years. No, 8-5 is not great by anyone's standards, but I don't think the wheels are coming off.
This weekends game is actually quite big for Bronco. A win, and the program is trending upward. A loss and the chorus from the "fire Bronco" crowd will only grow louder. 9-3 sounds a whole heck of a lot better than 8-4. 9-3 with loses only to P5 teams is much better than 8-4 and losing to the little sister to the north.
The question should also be asked, does he get any credit for all of those 11-2 seasons? They were pretty good by anyone's standards.
