If a China, for example, where the virus started, reported 200 million positive cases and 1% of those resulting in deaths...does that slightly change anything for you? That's not out of the realm of possibility with a population in the billions.
You still didn't answer my question...do you trust the numbers reported from China? Yes or no. It's not a trick question.
Now add India...another huge country that dwarfs the USA. Just because Germany can be trusted, as weird as that sounds, doesn't make up for the giants that can't be trusted. You are basing all your facts on known unknowns. We don't know the positivity rates worldwide...we don't.
