I’d much rather have the 10-20 cases with no deaths type of outbreaks that New Zealand is experiencing instead of 1,000 deaths a day for a month we currently have here. And most of New Zealand has been able to carry on almost back to normal since they eliminated the spread. Meanwhile we can’t have kids in schools because of our stupidity.

Herd immunity is only achieved when 60-80 percent of population contracts the virus or we have a widely available vaccine. Given we have already had almost 200,000 deaths with around 10 percent of population with antibodies...your plan for herd immunity would likely cost the lives of millions.
