He's been historically bad since basically the 3rd quarter at UCF.
But people want to cross their fingers and run it back. Any other position and everyone would be 100% ok with upgrading a player who has played so awful the last 5 games.

That’s a fair point, but you are looking at all those QBs as seniors or who had multiple seasons as a starter.
