Jake didn't give up three consecutive full field drives to ASU's offense or
Fail to recover two fluke kicks that went to KU or ASU. And his clutch play helped us pull out a few miraculous last minute wins.
This group's wins and losses were team wins and team losses.
Sure, we all would have loved to have had a BYU great at QB, and Jake isn't a 'great' - but he had a season very much on par with John Beck's 2004 season when he had been in the system and was as experienced as Jake was this year. Also on par with Taysom's 2013 season. It's pretty easy to just look back and think about 2006 John Beck or 2014 Taysom.

That’s a fair point, but you are looking at all those QBs as seniors or who had multiple seasons as a starter.
