Having been a son of a BYU coach, a player and fan a LONG time, I heard plenty

of criticism of LaVell. It's hard to believe you HAVEN'T. I agree with the OP. Kalani's job is far harder than LaVell's ever was, but Kalani's had more successes in his first 8 years than LaVell did. LaVell didn't even win a minor bowl game until year 9.
