I am not advocating ignoring those. I bring them up because I think we should

evaluate the whole, not cherry pick the bad memories and come to a conclusion.

And on the other side of that same coin, we shouldn't cherry pick the good memories and evaluate based on that either. I merely brought up the good times to counter what seemed as a focus on the bad.
