You can buy a house 10 minutes from the beach for $900,000? I thought it would
be much, much higher in the San Diego area. I guess my reference point is because of my first house - the only thing it is close to is it is about 300 yards away from the freeway...$1.5 million. (actually, it was my first SFH, not my first "house"). 1267 square feet. They don't build them that small very often anymore.

Yeah, not ideal but rates will fall in time and prices on good homes 10 min from the beach will rise.

Because markets won't sustain these rates long term. Optimism for rate cuts is holding things together right now.

If only they’d stop buying expensive iPhones and save a little. My generation got by just fine that way.
