For my state Texas, $100,689 seems about right but many get by on a lot less.

Trying to live on $138,357 in the large metro areas of CA would be rough.

Moving to San Diego county soon (north end). Looking at homes for $900 that were $500 6 years ago. 😞

Also true for sure. We looked at homes more info and the insurance was more than the lower mortgage payment.

Because markets won't sustain these rates long term. Optimism for rate cuts is holding things together right now.

It's tough to say. Right now inventory is so low that prices keep going higher. Lower rates means expanded supply
