I hope you’re right but I don’t see it. I think BYU is more comfortable tackling
basketball NIL than football. It’s so much easier to manage a basketball roster than a football roster. For one, protecting the image of the school and keeping players out of trouble.
Yes we are seeing an increase in football because we are getting Big12 money, but I don’t think it will be as competitive in football as it will be in basketball.
Then again, I didn’t think I’d ever see this in basketball either. So again, I hope you’re right.
