the new turf and lights at LES has got me pumped for the upcoming season, especially assuming most home games will be night games. I was of course excited for the season last year with it being the first Big XII season, and I was kind of just apathetic up through spring practice, but I'm legitimately getting excited again.

The fact that those changes have hardly been mentioned by BYU is a sign of good things to come.

I have a feeling that small things like the grass and lights used to have to be big announcements in the past where they'd hype those small changes to appease the crowds. Think back on when they upgraded the WiFi. They made a big deal out of it.

I think that going forward, little things like that will be just a blip on the radar, and that bigger expenditures will take center stage as major announcements as they happen.
