me, like I still can't wrap my mind around how players didn't know TCU plays on grass and took the wrong cleats. There's only two possible explanations:

Our coaches didn't address the playing surface at an opposing stadium in the week leading up to the game and coaches at every other program do which makes our coaches look incompetent.

Coaches don't really address playing surface at opposing stadiums in the week leading up to that game and players everywhere else take the time to look it up while BYU players don't which makes BYU's players look lazy and dumb.

I guess a possible third: Somehow BYU coaches didn't know and told the players the wrong surface (really alarming).
