Good, Better, Best- he is a “good” coach, not the Best but good has always been
The biggest impediment to get to best.
Hard to make the changes (like let go of a coach) who is only “good enough” to try and find the Best option.
So BYU fans want the Best option and are frustrated with “good”

the defense wasn’t good but it wasn’t bad until 2022. fans are ALWAYS ahead of coaches when it comes to complaining.
